The lively Oplotnica stream cut a deep riverbed into the gorge, which the locals have always called »vintgar«. The educational trail leads along the wooden steps, bridges and forest paths above and along the shimmering water, which effervescently thunders through the clear pools. The power of the stream once powered more than 30 mills and sawmills around Oplotnica, and on your journey you will discover quite a few remains. Stop at the beautifully maintained clearing with benches and absorb the energy of nature around you. And pay attention, the rapids have created the rocks of beautiful shapes.
