The Church of St. Agnes on Brinjeva gora stands on top of the windy secluded Golik hill, above Zreče at 608 m above sea level. Therefore the church does not really stand on Brinjeva Gora, but it is one of the three churches on its ridge. The other two are the Church of Holy Mother of God and the Church of St. Martin. The special characteristic of the church is that throughout it the motif of an angel's head with wings in a wreath is repeatedly depicted.

Especially high location and distinctively high bell tower give it the status of an orientation point for the locals. The question which is often asked is, »In which direction from Agnes?«.
