Among the tall trees, in the middle of the soft clearing in the Zreče Park, with the cooperation of the Terme Zreče Spa and the Association of the Zreče Pensioners, a pleasant and extremely useful Intergenerational Exercise Park was created.

What is an Intergenerational Exercise Park?

With comfortable 15 machines for the natural, safe and directed workout, it is a combination of a fitness and an outdoor mobility park that is:

• of great help to the elderly to maintain vitality and mobility,
• an excellent exercise training for the younger ones,
• an interesting game to the youngest ones.

Train with a physical therapist or sports educator

When exercising, a physiotherapist from an internationally accredited Medico center at Terme Zreče Spa or a sports educator can help you, of course, by prior arrangement.

5 Examples of exercise machines, resembling everyday tasks of the older people:

• Wavy Rod: The shoulder rotation helps to dress easier, comb hair and wash.
• Wavy Footbridge: Get ready for the daily walk along different terrains to help you control your posture and stabilize your torso.
• Stairs: Walking stairs should not surprise you. Your leg muscles will grow stronger and your cardiovascular system will improve.
• Finger mats: Exercise with your fingers, making typing with your phone and on the remot control even faster.
• Air Walk: Walking through the air with a trainer enhances the mobility of the hip joints and leg muscles.
